ASDA MULLER LIGHT 2022 TERMS

Terms & Conditions

1. Promotion: This promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom (excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) aged 18 years or over. Proof of age and residence may be required.

2. Promoter: The Promoter is Muller UK & Ireland Group LLP (a limited liability partnership registered in England with partnership number OC384928) whose registered office is at Shrewsbury Road, Market Drayton, Shropshire, TF9 3SQ, United Kingdom. This Promotion is run in conjunction with the Promoter’s marketing agency: HRG UK Ltd, Mercury House, 8 Sandy Way, Grange Park, Northamptonshire NN4 5EJ, who will administer the Promotion (“HRG”). 

3. Exclusions: Promotion excludes employees of the Promoter (or their immediate families) or its holding or subsidiary companies; agencies or suppliers, or anyone else professionally involved with the Promotion or its administration.

4. Promotion Dates: This Promotion opens at 00:01 (UK Time) 28th April 2022 (“Start Date”) and closes at 23:59 (UK Time) 18th May 2022 (“Closing Date”) (together the “Promotion Period”).  Any entries received outside of the Promotion Period will not be valid and will not be entered into this Promotion.

5. How to enter: entrants will require a device with a text function, and must follow one of the following to enter:

a.  Residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales): after purchasing a Müllerlight yogurt from a participating Asda store or Asda online entrants must text the word “LIGHT” along with a space and the last 4 digits of the barcode found on the product to 60075 to be entered into the relevant daily prize draw. By way of example only “LUCKY 1234”; or

b.  Residents of Northern Ireland: Northern Ireland residents can enter without a purchase by either:

i. texting the word “LIGHT to 60075 to be entered into the relevant daily prize draw; or

ii. sending their full name, address, contact details on a piece of paper to: MullerLight ASDA Promotion, HRG, Mercury House, 8 Sandy Way, Grange Park, Northampton, NN4 5EJ. Only one entry per person per stamped envelope. Valid entries will be placed into the next prize draw taking place after the stamped envelope is received. Postal entries must be received by the Closing Date.

6. Daily Prize Draw. All complete and eligible text entries received on any day (starting 00:01 and ending 23:59) during the Promotion Period will be entered into a prize draw on the following day (each a “Daily Prize Draw”). By way of example only, eligible entries received on 28th April 2022, will be entered into the Daily Prize Draw to take place on 29th April 2022. Only one Daily Prize Draw per day.

7. Winners of each Daily Prize Draw will be selected at random by an automated program from all valid entries received during the preceding day. The winners will be notified by text message within seven (7) working days of the relevant Daily Prize Draw. Winners will not be charged for this message. Internet access will be required in order to redeem prizes. The text message will contain an email address for winners to confirm their personal details. There will be one (1) winner of the prize per day during the Promotion Period, except for the Start Date.

8. Texts charged at service provider’s standard network rate. Texts may not be included in any text inclusive packages. Users on virtual mobile networks may not be able to text the short code. Please check with your network provider before entering. Text lines are open 24 hours until the Closing Date.  Ask the bill payer before texting. Texts sent after the Closing Date will not be entered, but you may still charged. Take care when entering the text code; the Promoter is not responsible for mistypes, incomplete or otherwise illegible entries and you may be charged at a higher rate.

9. The Promoter may require entrants from Great Britain to provide proof of purchase. The Promoter will require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and any prizes may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.

10. Once an entrant has submitted their entry, the Promoter will send an SMS confirmation message response to the mobile phone number used by the entrant to enter the Promotion. There is no charge to the participant for this message.

11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, incomplete, delayed or illegible entries or for network, phone, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of entries. Proof of purchase will not be accepted as proof of entry.

12. The Promoter will not accept entries by any other method, including but not limited to, post (except for Northern Ireland residents), fax, email, or a social networking site. Bulk entries and entries via any kind of entry duplication method will not be accepted.

13. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that they can be contacted throughout the Promotion. In the event that your contact details change during the Promotion Period from those originally provided, you should contact the Promoter’s agent by writing to Cadbury ASDA Promotion, HRG, Mercury House, 8 Sandy Way, Grange Park, Northampton, NN4 5EJ to update your details.

14. Entry is by text only (save for entrants from Northern Ireland who can enter via post). Only one entry per person per day during the Promotion Period. Additional entries made by the same person on the same day will not be entered. For the avoidance of doubt only one unique mobile number will be accepted per person, and a person can use this mobile number to enter only once per day.

15. Prizes. There will be a total of 21 (twenty-one) prizes (only 1 (one) prize per day) available to be won during the Promotion Period. Each single prize is: 1 x £1,000 (one thousand pounds Sterling). This will be given by means of a balance transfer payable to the winner. Winners will receive their balance transfer within 28 (twenty eight) days of the Promoter verifying that the person is a valid winner.  It is the responsibility of the prize winner to supply the correct personal and account information for the balance transfer. The Promoter does not accept any liability for prizes lost, as a result of incorrect personal or account information supplied. The Promoter’s prize fulfilment agency, HRG, will correspond with the daily prize winner in order to arrange fulfilment of their prize.

16. Winners have 14 days from initial notification to email and confirm their personal details and bank details (name, account number and sort code). On confirmation of this information, the winner’s prize will be deposited into their chosen account within 28 days. If the winner has not emailed within 14 days of receiving the winning text message the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize with no liability, and at their absolute discretion.

17. Final Decision. The Promoter’s decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

18. No liability. To the fullest extent permissible by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained as a result of participation in the Promotion or redemption of the prize or any other loss or damage in connection with or in any way relating to the Promotion or a prize.  The Promoter is not responsible for the availability of the text portal and/or any defects or malfunctions in the operation of the text portal howsoever caused which affect the operation of the Promotion.

19. No Responsibility. The Promoter does not take responsibility for, recommend or guarantee the performance of any contractual or other obligations of third parties associated with the prize and shall not be liable for any acts or omissions (including fraud) committed by any third party.

20. Details of Prize Winners. Unless the winner objects, the name, county and country of each prize winner will be available by sending an email request to [email protected] after 30th May 2022 for a period of 4 weeks. Entries to this address will NOT be accepted.

21. Unpaid publicity. Prize winners may be required to participate in unpaid publicity as required by the Promoter.

22. Disqualification. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions. Entry instructions on-line and in any other marketing materials form part of these terms and conditions. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the Promotion, and entries made by a third party or with automated devices or processes are not allowed.

23. Right to suspend, vary or cancel. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, vary or cancel the Promotion without notice if circumstances make this unavoidable.

24. Personal Information. HRG will collect and process personal information from the entrant for the purposes of administering this Promotion and will share this personal information with the following third parties who will be supporting the Promoter with the Promotion:

This includes liaising with the winner via phone, email and/or publicising information about the prize winner by post and on social media in accordance with the privacy policy of the relevant entity. By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to the collection and use of their data in this manner. 25. Agreement to Terms and Conditions. By entering this Promotion all entrants agree unequivocally to be bound by these terms and conditions.

26. Severability. If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it will be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision will be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause will not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.

27. English Law. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, but is subject to the mandatory local law provisions for consumers. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
